This series consists of publications of the WPA, other Federal agencies, and the State Planning Commission which was a WPA related agency in the state. The publications were collected by the Commission after its creation in 1935 and some publications pre-date the agency. The series consists of material published by the Ala. state board, various other state boards, and the Washington office of the WPA. The material was collected by the board for its use and reference when developing projects for Ala.
